I just watched Animatrix. It was amazing. My new dream job is to draw for 'movies' like that! Woww.
We had a Beliefs and Values Day yesterday. It was awesome :D Kudos to limbidgit (my link thing isnt working..his blog is on the left-hilarious) for running it. It was based on relationships, more specifically the Five Love Languages, a book written by Gary Chapman.
The book basically explains different people's ways of expressing love and why relationships fail due to miscommunications. The five love languages are physical touch, gifts, words of affirmation, quality time and acts of service. Our year group was encouraged to think about what love langauge we and our loved ones communicated. I found the session really valuable because it made me reassess my relationships and gain more of an understanding about why problems in relationships arise. I'm pretty sure my two main love languages are words of affirmation and gifts.
Only one more week til the holidays! Really looking forward to resting. and finishing my art project.
Must get back to Human Biol study now..and then I can watch Ghost in the Shell (which my brother kindly lent me) and Bladerunner (whihc I'm analysing for English)
