Insights of my hand hurts

Youtube is awesome ok. Ricky Gervais on youtube is awesome. Exams arent awesome. Exams when they are over is awesome. Having completed my art history exam and my history exam and watched a few youtube clips of ricky gervais, I feel awesome.
Ricky Gervais taking the piss out of the England Strikers..Brilliant. I feel like I should say priceless..but I won't.
Just look at the way they portray Crouch :D running around, arms flopping by his sides. Karl Pilkington is hilarious. he looks like he should be in the videoclip for the Beatle's "The Walrus."..as in the "eggman" ...yeah I liked that one..thanks..
Steve Merchant is also very funny..in fact I'm pretty sure that's him playing Crouch in the second video.."You sayin i'm lanky?"

I'm really in a blurting mood. Might be because of exams but I just feel I need to write crap. So here it goes in no particular order..
On Monday I had my Art history exam which I think went alright. I just rambled on about psychotic artists such as Magritte and Dali, and their contribution to the Surrealist movement.

History was today and I also think it went okay. My hand is still sore though. Two essays I wrote were about the glorification of a dictator who committed genocide. Now before you Westerners immediately think how could she glorify Hitler? IT WASNT HITLER! IT was Mao Zedong. Yes Mao Zedong.. you may see his round smiley face in advertisements for cd shops or pet stores, You wouldnt see Hitler as a commercial cover girl would you now..

Aww Mao Zedong?? with the hat and the mole? Leave him alone! He wasn't a dictator!..not reallyy anyway..

..But he killed millions!..

..Yeah but he didn't MEAN to.

Well that's exactly what I thought before I approached the unit. Turns out Mao was actually responsible for more deaths than Hitler was. We were having a debate about this in History the other day actually and we came to the following conclusions:

- China has a larger population than Germany so I guess when millions died..you couldn't really tell.. Whereas with Germany.. Let's just say it may have been more difficult to gather together enough people to play a game of soccer.
- Another reason Mao's genocide wasn't such a biggy could have been because rather than killing people simply for their appearrances or backgroounds (they even mesaured the sizes of people's noses to see if they were a Jew) Mao ordered the death of so many because they were stupid enough to be Capitalists. Their own fault really. Screw political incorrectness.
If anyone else has any suggestions please do offer them to me :D

The other day I was reading about the failures of Mao's Great Leap Forward (funny how leaders claim ownership for people's hard work) and I read that one of the major problems was the decline in the cat population. I thought it was a spelling error as well dont worry..but I didnt read it on some ones blog it was.. ANYWAY. Turns out it wasnt. Turns out the Chinese got so hungry that they ate their own cats. I was instantly relieved at finding out the source of the stereotype at last.

Anyway speaking of Genocide: I read in the paper that John Howard has been accused of Genocide. The article was about how everyones a bit cranky because Mr Howard won't say sorry to the Aboriginals for the horrific crimes committed by people the same race as him years ago. Good old Kevin Rudd will say sorry though! So vote for him :D Maybe we could get some footage of him with some children and kittens guys?

Well awesome Ive managed to include derogatory against two of England's best players, Capitalists, Jews and the Chinese and possibly the Aboriginals all in one blog entry.
I have an english exam tomorrow yayyy hopefully i can pour some of this bigotry literature onto paper tomorrow. Yep they'd love that

I hate the word "spoof".

Le Grande Ball...e?

Well..
It is exactly 4 weeks to my year 12 ball (screaming girls..and the occasional guy)
Its been allotted in the worst time ..right before exams.
So all that any of us can think about is dresses/dates/limos/eye lashes.
But I am getting pretty darn sick of hearing about how much effort people are putting into making themselves look good.

Im sorry, I dont mean to sound like a spoilsport, it will be a great night.
The thing IS I've heard about people who spend up to a thousand on ball stuff.
I mean it's one night and no ones going to enjoy themselves if they are going to spend the night obsessing about how they look, making conscious decisions about their blinking activities, lest they ruin their hundred dollar make up job ..that will last for a few hours.

The whole thing is getting a little too hollywood, self indulgenty for my liking.
As for me I'm aiming to spend as little as I can on a dress, because quite frankly I can think of plenty of things that I'd rather buy with 800 dollars..like a diamond encrusted coat for my darling chihuaha.

But I am quite a happy girl at the moment as I have found a date :D
FINALLY
Now I need to worry about my dress, other accessories suitable for wearing, transport( most probably going to be a party bus:D) table arrangments, and...

EXAMS!

A time to rejoice

So, I felt like writing a blog about how much I love God.
Many people reading this may groan, roll their eyes or both of the above- which is something that really saddens me.
Some, however will smile and read on..I don't really mind and I don't expect people's reactions to be exactly as described :P
But I just really felt like expressing the amazing feeling of following God.

Getting to know God has been the coolest experience of my life and although I have SOOOO much to learn about Him, I feel completely secure in my relationship and my future.

I was looking through His Word and I came across this awesome little passage:
ROMANS 8:1-4
"So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Jesus Christ from the power of sin that leads to death. The law of Moses could not save us, because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours, excpet we are sinful. God destroyed sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins."

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
This Good News makes me very happy :D
and I feel especially blessed to be surrounded by friends who encourage, support and love.

To those who are interested in learning about God I really encourage you to seek support in those who are followers. Keep praying for God's guidance and live a life He would be proud of.

WOW! I just found an amazing website: http://www.whypain.org/

I'm glad I had this vent :D
God bless!
